I’m a little slow in discovering a little jewel of a book by the talented and famous author, John Grisham. I have been reading his books for a number of years and became accustomed to his complicated novels mostly dealing with lawyers and legal problems. All so very Good!
But, this past week, as I was browsing the shelves at our local, super library, I saw this little book, “Playing for Pizza”, among all his famous titles, like “The Firm”, “The Runaway Jury” and “The King of Torts”. It’s a quick read about this failing, third string NFL quarterback.. From the NFL, he finds himself in Parma, Italy, playing in the Italian form of professional (sorta) football.
It is a fun, relaxing read……..go find it!
