I read Michelle Malkin’s article this morning and she is saying that several major companies have dropped support and membership from the American Legislative Exchange Council. As she reported, this is a four decade old policy organization of state legislators and like minded business’ who believe in “..the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, limited government, federalism and individual liberty.”
These companies that have cut their relationship with ALEC, apparently have done so because of pressure from an organization called “Color of Change”, who along with soro backed “Progress Now” and “MoveOn.org” and other leftist groups, are attacking ALEC in order to lessen its influence on legislation.
These companies, including Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, State Farm Insurance, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Kraft Foods, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and I’m sure others, have given in to these far left groups just for a few points, and in doing so, have insulted the majority of Americans.
If they were proud of this decision, I would think they would be announcing it to the world. Apparently NOT!
Ms. Malkin is the author of “”Culture of Corruption: Obama and his Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks & Cronies“, which is available at Amazon.com and other fine outlets.
